Causation

A February 2021 Congressional Subcommittee report found toxic heavy metals at levels many times higher than FDA limits for bottled water in commercial baby foods. Internal company testing documents showed manufacturers knowingly sold products with elevated levels of inorganic arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury. These neurotoxins cause irreversible neurological damage in developing brains, linked to reduced IQ, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and behavioral problems.
